Who we are

We are educational consultants who advocate for individuals with special needs so that they can succeed. We are committed to providing extraordinary service and resources to families, educators, and communities through positive partnerships, research, legislation, comprehensive evaluations, powerful advocacy, and innovative consulting. Who we serve

Today, our consultants and advocates work with families and schools in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida, and remotely with other clients.  Our consultants are experts in working with students of all ages faced with a wide variety of learning obstacles such as ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, Asperger's Syndrome, giftedness, intellectual disability, speech and language impairments, low incidence disabilities, other health impairments, and with other students who may not be achieving their potential.

Our mission

Our mission is to ensure that individuals with special needs receive a free appropriate public education. We collaborate to promote the meaningful social, emotional and academic growth for those we serve. We will empower, motivate and inspire families, students and educators to advocate for their life success.

 

History

Michelle Davis combined her extensive experience as a special educator with her passion towards civil and educational rights to found ABCs for Life Success, LLC in 1998.  With a child-centered and collaborative approach, our consultants began fostering win-win relationships between parents and schools which enhance success and personal development. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include performing and analyzing educational evaluations, monitoring legal issues, and developing effective individual plans, and more.  Our outreach efforts, advocacy and special education books and publications, and advocacy training institute supplement these services.
